Equipment

My radio collection continues to grow as I become more involved in amateur radio.

My first radio is a Baofeng BF-F8HP I have used it with APRS through a cable to my cellphone and using APRSDROID.

I also have a Yaesu FT-65 I find it to be difficult to program so I have not made use of it much.

I have a Baofeng UV-5R that I am hoping to use to connect my weather station to APRS.

The radio I currently use the most is a TYT MD-UV380. I use it with a hotspot to do APRS.

I am working on getting on HF by building/assembling a ubitx which will work from 10 meters to 80 meters.

I am currently investigating a 6-meter radio as I have a friend that is on 6-meters.
